URSLY / RESEARCH FILM

Could an interface smell?

A research concept about the chemistry, sensors, calibration and human perception involved in an olfactory interface. Synthetic vapor and sensor imagery illustrate the question while Ursly invites university collaborators.

What would it take to give an interface a sense of smell? Chemistry. Sensors. Calibration. Human perception. Ursly is seeking university collaborators to connect the pieces. Build the sensory layer with us.

The research
behind the invitation.

The first year selects one primary path: smell sensing, controlled scent delivery or simple taste delivery. The team would define reference methods, collect a traceable dataset, test a bounded setup, repeat the measurements and connect the supported workflow to Ursly. Each path requires separate evidence.
